Giving Something back...
There are so many deserving charities out there, we simply cannot support all of them, much as we want to, so we choose the ones close to us for our own reasons.
We support local charities in whatever way we can, with one off events that we are approached with, however there are some that are more personal to us.
We actively support the lifeboats, as a close friend of ours Richard Watson "Watty" has been on the Skegness (where Ro grew up) lifeboat for some 30 odd years - a selfless commitment, that volunteers on the boat risk their lives for, in order to save others.
We use our kettle challenge to raise lifeboat funds as well as Ro happily giving out recipes when asked - in return for a donation, however large or small, into the box.
