The Coylet Inn - On the banks of Loch Eck
Giving Something  back...

There are so many deserving charities out there, we simply cannot support all of them, much as we want to, so we choose the ones close to us for our own reasons.

We support local charities in whatever way we can, with one off events that we are approached with,  however we have specific ones that have personal links to us, that we constantly try to support.

We actively support the lifeboats, as a close friend of ours Richard Watson "Watty" has been on the Skegness  (where Ro grew up) lifeboat for some 30 odd years - a selfless commitment, that volunteers on the boat risk their lives for, in order to save others. We use our kettle challenge to raise lifeboat funds.

We, like so many, lost a very special close friend to cancer last year.

We heard through Facebook, that a chap called Christopher Silvester, is running, yes running, John o groats to Lands End next year to raise funds for  cancer research.

We are honoured that we are able to offer this amazing (some would say mad!) guy some Scottish hospitality and look forward to meeting him, although with a schedule of around 40 miles a day, he will probably head straight to bed!  If you want to read more, or follow his incredible journey,  click here.

Help for heroes, approached us recently and we hope to host a quiz night to help raise funds, we are also planning a VE day celebration party with all proceeds to them.

Without wanting to dilute the generosity of our customers, if you have a worthy cause, or an idea to raise funds, and are looking for a venue, please get in touch.
